Welcome to our peaceful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat conveniently located near Austin, Bastrop, and Smithville. The spacious house is fully equipped and features two living spaces, stunning forest views from the east-facing windows, and a tranquil fenced deck. The ten-acre property offers access to hiking trails, hammocks, a fire pit, and a BBQ for our guests to enjoy. The house is designed to welcome families, is wheelchair accessible, and well-behaved pets are also welcome with a few rules.
The space
As soon as you step inside, you will find a spacious and welcoming paradise, consisting of two separate living spaces, which is perfect for families or groups of friends. However, the most impressive feature of our home is the breathtaking views of the forest you can enjoy from the windows, as well as the peaceful fenced deck where you can unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of nature.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire house except for two locked storage closets. There is also a detached garage and a shed on the property, which the owners use only occasionally.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was quiet, relaxing and beautiful. It was fun watching for wildlife with my kids and the beds were comfy!

We loved this stay. The house was spacious and welcoming. Because of the weather we did not get enjoy the great looking outdoor space. It was a nice home away from home! If you have small children the house was well equipped.

The house was huge and very accommodating! The kitchen was large, clean and had everything we needed. House would work well for families as there’s lots of items and toys for young kids to entertain themselves. Because of the location, WiFi was very limited and spotted which was inconvenient. In one of the rooms, there were about a dozen lady bugs. Not a huge deal but we didn’t use that room because of it. Also had issues with the front door locking (we think the battery was dead). We contacted the host about it but didn’t get a response. Overall a good house to stay- but communication could have been better.
