Het uitzicht was fantastisch!! De hele villa was op zich prima!

Tijdens ons verblijf werd er niet schoongemaakt en we kregen niet automatisch schone/droge handdoeken. Ook geen extra handdoeken voor het zwembad. Wanneer er naar werd gevraagd kwam de host wel meteen schone handdoeken brengen. Electriciteit moet na het verblijf extra afgerekend worden. Na lang zoeken op de site van Booking.com staat er ergens alleen vermeld dat er extra kosten in rekening worden gebracht voor het gebruik van de airco. Veel is het niet, in ons geval was het 400 baht. Toch is het goed om rekening mee te houden.

Great view above the northern part of Koh Samui - few beaches, airport and whole Chaweng area. Friendly and helpful hosts - thank you, Marc, for everything you’ve done trying to overcome all those endless issues. True nature around you as soon as you literally live at the national park’s border. And at the same time - quite close to the main island’s infrastructure

The villa is far from a good shape. Using of the villa facilities was a true nightmare( It poisoned everything, because there were literally a few days within 9 weeks we spent there, when there were no issues( Mostly all the time something was out of order( Here is list of villa facilities which had to be fixed during our stay - ACs, pool filtering system, dishwasher, WiFi, hairdryer, teapot, terrace umbrella, etc. sometimes of them had to be fixed multiple times( And finally all over issues mentioned above - we’ve been facing the continuous lack of the electricity because of endless power cuts - both, island’s and villa’s infrastructure related. It means that most of the days you stay there you’re not able to use some of the basic facilities - shower, lights, internet, etc. Sometimes you are not able to cook, sometimes you have to sleep without AC, sometimes you can’t use the pool, because the greens appear as soon as filtering system also doesn’t work, etc. Almost every day you face something( I pushed the owner to install the solar back up power system, similar to that one they have at the sister villa across the road, we even had to move out from the villa for three days for the installation to be done, but with no batteries installed it even became worse after that( There is no cleaning services (in spite of it’s mentioned at the villa description), so you have to do it by yourself or pay to the hosts about 1.4k Thai baht each time. Host does only the pool maintenance once in a week or so, but it can be not enough to use the pool all the days in a raw because of power cuts, greens in the water, pool water chemicals related issues, etc. Also be prepared to pay extra charge for the electricity (in spite of it’s not mentioned in description and your booking details). Lots of constructions nearby, both light and heavy ones, so be prepared for the noise from time to time with a very few lucky exceptions.
