Muktamma

The location is 15min walk from Ramana Ashram, it is in a quiet street but not far from the main road. No traffic noise at all. The family is very nice and friendly, also helpful with everything, with any question, request, they try to help. You can easily walk to the ashram, but also walking up to the main road, (sometimes even before) you can catch a rickshaw for 50 rupees to take you to the ashram. Sometimes they try to charge you more, but this is the price to the ashram. The owner also offered me a bike or scooter to use as well, if i want to. The apartment is spacious with kitchen, room, bathroom and it looks quite new and well kept. Only minor issues you can find but it is not so important. Air con and fridge is very useful. Evenings are very quiet, no-one makes any noises which is good. The family even give me fruits and coconut to eat from their farm. Overall I was very happy with my stay, it was exactly as it looks like on the booking, and also felt safe and protected there, and as a solo lady traveller I felt comfortable with the family also living there but having a completely separate apartment. They also provide filtered water, which was handy. I will definitely choose them again.
