Everything, but especially the location

I really liked the fair price, the perfect location, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the city. 100% Recommend!

Our stay at this property can be summed up in two words: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. Unfortunately, we had to spend 6 nights here, as it was too late to cancel and get even a partial refund, and we didn’t want to cut our holiday short. We decided to stick it out — but it wasn’t easy. First impressions were poor — the entire place was dark, outdated, and had a strong musty odor. The room: The door hinges squeaked loudly and needed oiling. Everything felt old and worn down. The bed frame was unstable, and the wardrobe was crooked with creaky doors. Cold air came in through the balcony doors and windows. The bathroom was very small, though it had been recently renovated. However, we noticed (from doors left open all week) that not all rooms had updated bathrooms. Common areas: These were in unacceptable condition. It was unclear when they were last cleaned — there was dust, crumbs, and random trash scattered everywhere. Three different refrigerators were placed in the shared space, none of which were plugged in or functioning. We also noticed another refrigerator in a small room labeled "Staff Only", which was left open the entire week. This fridge was running but filled with rotting food that had begun to smell. Trash bags were piled on the floor in the same room and left there all week, adding to the bad odor. While this area was supposedly meant for staff, the open door meant the smell spread into the common areas. From what we could tell, this room also served as the kitchen. We would strongly advise against eating anything prepared here, as the conditions were clearly unsanitary. We reported the unclean conditions to the property owner, but instead of offering help, she simply responded that the mess could have been left by other guests and they’re not responsible. Perhaps — but we were the only ones there all week. We saw and heard no other guests. The entire place seemed abandoned, with someone only coming by to clean after guests check out.

Wir hatten ein kleines aber funktionales Zimmer mit allerfeinstem Bergblick. Es war urig eingerichtet, sauber und das Bad war sehr modern. Die Unterkunft befindet sich grad in der Modernisierung, davon merkt man im Betrieb aber nichts. Preis/Leistung hat hier absolut gepasst. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen und herzlich aufgenommen. Um alle unsere Anliegen, wie zb. Verstauen der Mountainbikes, wurde sich im Handumdrehen gekümmert. Absolut über dem Standard, großes Dankeschön an Vera und Philipp und auch Zoltan, die sich so herzlich und sorgsam um uns gekümmert und uns den Aufenthalt versüßt haben.
