About this house rental
Enjoy all Arlington and the Nation’s Capital have to offer at this stylish, well-maintained, professionally decorated, and centrally-located 1950’s rambler.
You’ll enjoy access to the entire house. The main level has hardwood floors throughout and all the essentials (living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bathroom) to go with the two bedrooms. The primary bedroom is large relative to the rest of the house (it was once two bedrooms that have now been converted into one). The other upstairs bedroom is average sized. There is also a balcony off the dining room in the back.
From the downstairs you can walk out to the back patio (below the balcony). There’s also the family room, laundry room, full bath, and the third bedroom with a trundle bed, ergonomic chair, and a sit/stand desk. Each level is approximately 780 square feet.
This is a 70-year old house with charming quirks and character surrounded by modern style and decor. We hope you’ll admire it as much as we do.

What a WONDERFUL find! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clarendon Cottage --- the original Arlington home is charming, cozy, & comfortable. Highlights include: 1) off-street parking for 3 cars (UNHEARD of in this location), 2) location - centrally located & easy to get anywhere you need to be in the DMV. We especially enjoyed the walkability to Clarendon where we had several tasty dinners! 3) SPACE - the cottage is surprisingly spacious which allowed our group to spreadh out and be comfortable, 4) Host (Chris) is extremely responsive, and he went out of his way to accommodate our last minute reservation which I GREATLY appreciated. Chris has thoughtfully considered his guest every need providing snacks, filtered water, luggage racks, toiletries/towels, and a whole host of amenities which we happily leveraged 5) Bed in the primary bedroom is SOOO COMFORTABLE - we slept great which is not always the case at a VRBO. 6) Laundry - perfect for extended stays & Chris even provides some laundry pods. THANK YOU CHRIS for being an AMAZING host and sharing your beautiful cottage. What a gem -- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Clarendon Cottage. The place was clean and comfortable providing plenty of space for our family to prepare meals and hang out together. Having off-street parking was also most convenient.
