About this house rental
Cozy 3 Bd 2 Ba house is centrally located in Lincoln, just outside of downtown in a quiet neighborhood. It is short walking distance to the Lincoln Zoo and Antelope Park, both unique Lincoln family attractions. We are also within 5 minute drive to all the amenities of downtown and the Haymarket such as Memorial stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena and all the bars/restaurants. There are 3 king size beds in the 3 spacious bedrooms and 1 extra hide away bed for those stays requiring extra sleep space. IMPORTANT NOTE AS OF 3-22-25 : DUE TO A RECENT WINTER STORM THE BACKYARD FENCE IS DOWN AND WILL NOT BE FULLY ENCLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Loved our stay in the Sumner House: easy check-in, friendly and responsive hosts, a welcome basket with snacks and most importantly 3 bedrooms with 3 comfortable king size bed,… it all made for a wonderful reunion and game day trip.

We picked this location because it was close to our daughters house and would easily accommodate our family of 7. We had plenty of room and everything we needed to enjoy our family holiday dinner. The house was clean with plenty of towels and all the amenities of home. Also, this was a great location and we walked our dogs to the park just a couple blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.

We were so grateful for the owner’s quick response to our reservation, filling us in on all the details about the property right away—it really set us up to know just what to expect. The house was impeccably clean, the thoughtful details in preparation for our arrival (bottled water in the fridge, coffee, etc.) made an huge difference. The three king beds with incredibly comfortable bedding were a luxurious touch, even though it was just the two of us. Yes, it’s an older home with some character and imperfections, but it’s been thoughtfully updated with all the modern conveniences and digital perks we could need. Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, it was the perfect place to recharge after our busy days, offering peace, quiet, comfort, and a fantastic night’s sleep. As our first time booking a pet-friendly spot, this place was an absolute dream—staying here allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our trip, not worrying constantly about our dogs. On our next trip to or through Lincoln, we will definitely look to stay here again.

Beds were very comfortable; kitchen was well-equipped. Very large walk-in shower downstairs. Heat/cooling responsive and easy to keep house warm. Owner was easy to reach and responsive. Only complaint is that WiFi/TV never worked.
