About this house rental
Moulin de la Ronde dips its toes in the River Vienne and is located in an exceptional riverside location. Cross the footbridge to our island and you’re in a private nature reserve of your own with plenty of places to sit and picnic or star gaze at night. Some of our regular visitors stay there all week, despite there being plenty to discover in the region. Try the old fortress town of Chauvigny or Futuroscope by way of contrast.
The Old Grainstore is a charming upper barn conversion with all you need for a really comfortable stay. Enormous bed, strong shower, UK satellite tv, large dining table, rocking chairs and L shaped sofa. subdued lighting, music centre… furniture from our time in Asia. The wonderful A frame beams look down on you in this 30’ x30’ parquet floored former storage place for the grain before it was milled.
We’re generally on hand if you need us otherwise you have the place to yourselves. We hope you enjoy it as much as other visitors have and as much as we do.
