Enjoy the serenity of the wooded view from the screened-in, furnished porch with an adjacent private, fenced-in dog yard. The Lower Berne is located only 2 miles from Downtown Asheville on Beaucatcher Mountain surrounded by trees, near a variety of hiking trails for you and your pup to enjoy. Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. However, if your pet usually sleeps with you, kindly bring your own bedding and notify us ahead of time. We can prepare the beds without linens upon request so you can snuggle with your furry friend!

Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and flea treatments
We kindly ask that pets remain quiet and not be left unattended. Crates are available, and we can recommend local doggie daycare services upon request.
Pets must be leashed at all times while outside.
Kindly remember that you are fully responsible for your pets during your stay. Any damage or extra cleaning, including excessive shedding, pet hair on beds or furniture, stains, and/or odors may incur additional charges. We hope you and your furry friends have a wonderful time and kindly ask you to treat our property with care.
Clean up after your pet: Please be courteous and responsible to other guests and clean up any/all pet refuse in or out of dog pens. We have several “doggy waste bag” dispensers on the property for your convenience and a poop scooper in pet yards.

Pets must be leashed at all times when outside.
Please be considerate of your fellow neighbors who may be disturbed from your dog’s barking.

Great location - Access to everything within minutes! Very clean and communication with the host was spot on. The only negative for us on the trip were a couple of large trees that were on a hill, above the property. The trees had been cut from the storm and the placement above the house on a hill made us nervous. Other than that, great (clean) place and location to Ashville.

Nice accommodations tucked just outside downtown. Proximity is close to city happenings, but far enough away for our pup to not be anxious about city sounds. The property had everything we needed with helpful amenities like make-up remover wipe, Q-tips, and kitchen supplies. Communication with the host was great. The screened in porch is a HUGE bonus. Pup friendly. Had dog bowls and extra poop bags in the closet.

We loved the location just minutes to downtown and 240 but also in the woods. We have a bear visit on our last morning, which was very exciting for our pups. One of them loved sleeping on his bed on the screen porch just outside the bedroom. We enjoy traveling with them and they enjoyed the accommodations, especially the doggie treats.
