About this cottage rental
Villa Cocuyo; Beautiful Ecological Getaway, is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation or long stay. It is a rustic cabin with breathtaking views of the mountain from every corner of the house. It is surrounded by lush and a natural pine forest. Here you can recharge and enjoy the luxury of being in contact with nature.
This is an OPEN house. Each room is independent from the other with its own bathroom and private balcony. The house stands in a 7,899 MT2 lot, gated by rustic wooden poles and wire which is the traditional way in the country side.
The house has two levels. One is the main level in which there is: the entrance hall, the living and dining room, loft like. Two bedrooms one on each side with independent access doors, the kitchen and the main terrace. Then there is the stairs to go down where you may access the third room, the patio, the laundry area and a second dining table for six.
This is a residential area. When visiting, you will feel the tranquility of nature and the pine trees when there is a soft breeze. Being a residential area you will need to go to town for groceries or supply. The center of town is approximately a 12 mins drive from or to the house.
Villa Cocuyo is mainly in the category of an Eco Cabin because we have no emergency power generator or air conditioners. It is very rare that a power blackout occur at Jarabacoa, however this doesn't mean that it can't happen. If it does, it is part of the adventure and you will have light bulbs in the kitchen, two big led lamps and a flashlight for that purpose.

Had a fantastic stay by this beautiful villa in the middle of the nature. It was a most resourceful moment away from the daily noise and chaos of city life. Villa is well-maintained, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, the lounge area is so relaxing and enjoyable. Just wished I could have stayed longer. Definitely hoping to come back to this gem.
