Lookout Cabin in the mountains, Amazing Views!

Overall it was a great stay, cabin is secluded and has an excellent view over the valley. Cabin & hot tub were clean and well sized for 2-4 guests. You should bring your own food and amenities (shampoo, conditioner etc) to the cabin because there isn’t much around the area and you’re not making a quick trip to the store or getting food delivered easily. Cabin supplied dish soap, hand soap, bar soap and towels. Some things to know: - Host has SUV you can use to access the cabin. The road entering the cabin is unpaved and could be difficult to traverse with a 2 wheel drive vehicle. All-wheel or 4x4 recommended or use the hosts SUV. - Kitchen sink drain was leaking into a bucket under the kitchen sink when we were there. This was not mentioned in the listing nor was it mentioned by the host prior to or during our stay. We learned about it when it started overflowing. - If you don’t like bugs, this probably isn’t the place for you. In the mountains when it rains millipedes come out. Mornings after a decent rain you’ll find millipedes dried up and roaming around the floors of the property. We just swept them up each morning, not a big deal for us. I’d say probably 20-30 each morning around the house. Host mentioned this at check-in.

Clean, well stocked. Host was very proactive and pleasant. Offers both solitude and conveniently located to necessities.

Amazing cabin in the mountains with an incredible view of the valley. Peaceful, cozy and clean!

The cabin was fantastic, everything we wanted it to be. It was very clean and essential items for cooking. Brian communicated extremely well with check in/out instructions that made the transitions smooth and efficient as well as offered local food/attractions. I have a non AWD compact SUV with snow traction control that did make it up to the cabin on arrival to unpack however we did utilize the provided SUV for the remainder of our stay... instructions to use were great. Watching the sunset in the hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. I loved that there were guest books for everyone to sign. Will definitely return!
