About this cabin rental
New construction 2023. Two bedroom one bath on Lake Winyah Thunder Bay River. Fishing from dock or bring your own boat (boat launch is 300 ft from cabin). Large mouth bass, small mouth bass, pike, perch, blue grill. Note: Major League Fishing held tournaments in 2014 and 2017 with great results and many happy fisherman. Alpena and Presque Isle offer charter boat fishing or explore Thunder Bay Shipwrecks in the Marine Sanctuary. Located 5 miles from Alpena.

Fantastic host: good communication. Very nice place and comfortable. Great location. Very clean and well maintained. The fish cleaning station was a very nice bonus touch. We will definitely rent here again in the future.

My husband and I had a very relaxing vacation. The house very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We loved being on the lake and enjoyed fishing in our boat as well as off the dock, watching the activity on the lake and sitting by the fire in the evenings.
