Laurel Cabin is a rustic riverside log cabin located between Boone and Blowing Rock. A short six minute drive will take you to Downtown Blowing Rock where you will find local dining and shopping, in addition to the community park. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, about five minutes from the cabin, for scenic overlooks and numerous hiking trails. Nestled in the mountains, this modern cabin seamlessly combines comfort and style. A striking stone fireplace anchors the living area, surrounded by inviting leather furniture. Large windows offer sweeping mountain views, blurring the lines between indoors and nature. The cabin is in a great location close to everything. It was filthy though! I wore sandals the entire time I stayed. I ran my finger across the floor and picked up lots of dust after realizing my feet were filty. The sofa was covered in dog hair. There were cigarette butts left in the ash tray outside. It was a mess.
