Villa Mateos Ronda by Ruralidays

We were 3 families totalling 11 guests and villa Mateos in Ronda was a wonderful base for us to enjoy the beauty of Ronda whilst relaxing in comfort and enjoying our family get together. The villa is well equipped and spacious, the kids (and the big kids) loved the pool and as you would expect the weather was perfect. Would happily rebook for another stay.

Firstly make sure you put the correct Ronda in your satnav if leaving Malaga Airport as we drove for 90 min in the total opposite direction not knowing that there is actually 3 Rondas. When we finally did arrive we were met by Alberto who was an extremely very nice guy although his English was none existent but we got round that with the wonders of online translator. We have got a few things to say on the negative side but these are constructive. Firstly although we were shown how things worked it was very difficult to understand so I would suggest a folder in English kept on site so people know how to turn on the aircon, outside lights, cooker ect secondly we were met with a very green uninviting pool ( pics before and after attached) , once we put a call In It was all sort 3 days later and ready to swim in although cold. We were told that the pool is weather depended which we get but having a 7-14 forecast they could have seen the weather was improvising and got it ready for out arrival. Internally it was a bit plain no pictures on wall so could do with a bit of a homely touch. Would we stay here again most defiantly , the Villa is incredible, Ronda is the most amazing town. I would describe it as real Spain, not an English bar or restaurant in site, all Spanish. The walk to the old town is about 10min and is absolutely stunning. Would most certainly recommend this Villa
