Paniolo 204A is located in a very walkable part of Princeville, a great blend of comfort and convenience, ensuring that your Hawaiian getaway is nothing short of spectacular. One of the most appealing of Paniolo 204A is its unbeatable location. Situated on the north shore of Kauai in Princeville, you'll find yourself surrounded by a plethora of natural and cultural attractions. Anini Beach is a short, shady 10 minute hike. The Saturday morning farmer's market is an easy 5 minute stroll, and five minutes past that is the Princeville shopping center with its grocery store, restaurants, boutiques, bar and grill, wine market, and more. The Westin is a 5 minute walk in the other direction and offers a Starbucks, minimart, and several restaurant dining options. Just across the street is the multi-use path which is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking. Hanalei is 10 minutes away, with its charming boutiques, great restaurants, and gorgeous beaches. Lumahili Gardens, the NaPali coast, and Hanalei Bay are within easy driving distance.
As you step into Paniolo 204A, you'll immediately feel the embrace of Hawaiian hospitality. The spacious living area is thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy space to unwind after your day's adventures. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your favorite meals with ease, and the dining area is perfect for enjoying them with loved ones. Comfortably sleeps four people with a king bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft-style bedroom upstairs, and lovely tradewinds to keep you cool once you've settled in for the night. If you'd like to convert the two twin beds upstairs to a king bed, everything you need is in the apartment, just ask us where to find it. A washer and dryer are available, allowing you to pack light and have fresh clothes for every adventure. You can also enjoyed the shared pool and barbecue in the complex, a great way to end an active day with a swim and grilling up your catch of the day.
Please note that Paniolo is a non-smoking property. The entire condo property is smoke free. Smoking is only permitted off of the condo property and then only as long as it is not within twenty (20) feet of a living unit. These are both condo association rules and Hawaii state statutes.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, but you'll find the cooling tropical tradewinds keep you comfortable and let you enjoy the scent of the fresh sea air.
This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.
This home has internet, but the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Beautiful place, great location. Easy check in. Good communication with property management. One thing that would make this place perfect would be air conditioning. But otherwise, fantastic place. If you can tolerate the heat, this is a great place to stay.

The space was lovely and well located near Hanalei where we wanted to be. Washer and dryer in the rental was a huge plus, as was the onsite pool. The huge downside is there is no AC so for an August stay, it was almost unbearably hot at night, especially up in the loft. The ceiling fans were a help, but just a bit. The only other picky negative is there is no overhead lighting, just lamps, so you're sitting in the dark to eat dinner. I would stay there again off-season, but not at the height of summer heat.

Wonderful location & beautiful pool! Space has everything one we need. Only hiccup was the toilet would have trouble flushing and there is no AC and the fans don’t keep the upstairs cool enough so 2 of us ended up sleeping on the floor in the living room.

Property was clean and well stocked when we checked in on Saturday. We had an issue with a torn window screen that prevented us opening the window vents next to our bed. This caused us to sleep hot at night. We called the number on Saturday for help and heard nothing back. Called again on Sunday and left a message. We did get a call back on Sunday and were told someone would be out Monday to fix the screen. Monday no one came and we received no call telling us why. We called the help number again and left a message. We got a call back and the lady said she would have it fixed on Tuesday and she would get the guy at her office to call us back and let us know what time they’d be there. We got no call back but just happened to be there about 2PM on Tuesday when the repair guy got there and fixed the screen, Communication needs improvement as well as getting repairs done in a timely manner.
The unit was in a good location but not within the walking distance to shops as described in the writeup. We had to drive to everything. It wasn’t far but it wasn’t within walking distance. Also we could see the mountains somewhat out the lanai window but they were mostly obscured by trees.
