Located in a quiet area, in the garden of a family property, this independent accommodation offers you a pleasant stay in Gentilly.
With a capacity of up to 4 people, it is ideal for a couple or a small family looking for the comfort of a private cocoon.
## Logement
Located on the ground floor, the accommodation includes:
- Wi-Fi, television
- a low-ceilinged mezzanine bedroom under the eaves with a double bed (160x190)
- a shower room;
- a fully equipped and functional kitchen with a ceramic hob (2 burners), microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, Krups coffee maker, and kettle
- a living area with a sofa bed to relax on after a day of sightseeing.

A baby cot is also available on request.
Sheets, towels, and basic consumables (2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 trash bag) as well as a hygiene kit (shower gel and hand gel) are included in the cleaning fee.
The apartment is ideally located, just a 2-minute walk from a supermarket and a 10-minute walk from public transportation, making it easy to reach the center of Paris or the airports.
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to discover must-see places such as:
- The Catacombs of Paris (20 minutes by public transportation),
- The Montparnasse Tower (26 minutes by public transport);
- The Pantheon (30 minutes by public transport),
- The Louvre Museum (35 minutes by public transport), and many more.

## Emplacement
Bordering Paris, the commune of Gentilly is located in the Île-de-France region, in the Val-de-Marne département. Close to Montrouge and Kremlin-Bicêtre, it benefits from excellent public transport links to the rest of the region. What was once known as Gentiliacum took on its current name at the very end of the 13th century. Divided between various abbeys and a seigniory in the Middle Ages, the territory developed over the centuries, notably with the creation of the Médicis aqueduct in the 17th century. From the 19th century onwards, the town became a major industrial center, particularly in the laundry and tannery industries on the banks of the Bièvre. Today, Gentilly is a service-sector town, renowned for its involvement in the audiovisual industry.
An ancient commune, Gentilly still boasts a number of monuments and tourist sites that bear witness to its past and its importance in history.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is beautifully laid out, in a safe feeling community, and is extremely easy to reach by public transport.
Pros:
- Beautiful space
- Lovely area
- Just 20 mins from centre of Paris
- Affordable and value for money
- Helpful and prompt communications
- Comfortable and warm
Cons:
- There was a strong moss-like smell from the shower, although this faded over the few days we were there
- Basic necessities like soap in the bathroom and toilet roll were in low supply
Would absolutely revisit and would recommend to others!

Positives
The space and layout is good.
Facilities good, dishwasher coffee machine fridge etc all okay
Nice powerful shower
Supermarket 5 mins walk away
Surrounding area quiet and felt safe enough
Negatives
Apartment had not been serviced on our arrival. Was filthy with dirty sheets
Hard to reach owners to get a resolution
Stench pipe right outside front door meant the flat was smelly
Two very steep hills in both directions to get to the nearest train stations. DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT UNLESS YOU CAN WALK UP STEEP HILLS (Its only a short walk, maybe 7 or 8 mins uphill but it IS steep)
25 mins into main paris on the train. If you are booking this to save money on your accommodation dont bother as it will cost you the difference in train tickets.
Overall we had a pleasant stay but that was following a very stressful arrival at 8pm to a filthy apartment with two small children and nowhere to get anything to eat as we were in the suburbs and the supermarket had closed.
The apartment was cleaned the next day but we had to make our own beds and clean before we could relax, it was due to a mix up and the cleaners were marvellous the next day but it was stressful and really spoilt the first day for us.
Unfortunately i still havent had a satisfactory response from the owners so i cannot tell you there was a positive outcome as there hasnt been one.
