Golf cart was not available during the stay. We understand that the rental agreement notes the golf cart is not guaranteed. However, as fellow short-term rental owners, we also understand that customer service and guest experience go beyond what's written in the agreement. The golf cart was an advertised amenity and a deciding factor in choosing this property. Its unavailability — especially without prior notice — impacted the convenience and overall value of our stay. While we recognize that breakdowns happen, a proactive heads-up or a gesture of courtesy compensation would have shown consideration for the guest experience. Since we did not receive a heads-up, we did not have the opportunity to rent a cart ourselves as all rentals were taken during the busy holiday week. Given the importance of this amenity, we felt a partial refund would be a fair and reasonable goodwill gesture. We reached out to the property managers/owners but did not receive ANY final response.
