Stamps Ayur Siwa

We had a very relaxing 5-day stay at Ayur, and we enjoyed it very much. The owner, Karim. is very nice and helpful. He met us at the Siwa bus station early in the morning. and allowed us early check in. the room was clean when we entered. and the furniture is brand new. The resort has a very nice hot spring pool, which was our favorite place, especially in cold winter nights. The space is very relaxing, the garden is full of pomegranate, lemon trees. and basil bushes, and good for spending your own time. Wifi is strong, especially in public areas of the resort. Karim can help you organize tours and is attuned to all your needs. The resort is out of town but the tuk-tuk costs 100 egp one way, and is easy to get. They offer drinking water in jars and we drank it throughout our stay, and no consequences whatsoever.

This is not specular to Ayur resort but we saw it on many occasions around Siwa, that people rely a lot on takeouts for meals. This is really bad, given the amount of garbage this practice creates. and the fact that a lot of that gatbage is scattered around this beautiful oasis. So when we wanted lunch one occasion at Ayur, it also arrived in plaastic packaging and wrappings. The same thing happened for our New Years dinner - it was all in styrofoam and plastic. Ayur provides drinking water in jars, however, most tourists still demand plastic bottles, although it is the same Siwa bottled water. My worry is how long it will take for Siwa to be completely buried in garbage with these practices.

카이로에서 밤 버스를 타고 시와에 다음날 아침 도착했는데 빠른 체크인 가능해서 좋았다. 정원도 예쁘게 관리되어 있고 주변 뷰가 멋져서 도착하자마자 마음에 쏙 들었다. 이 숙소의 하이라이트는 온천!! 소금호수 다녀와서 온천하고, 사막에서 일몰 보고 와서 온천하고, 다음날 시내 투어하고 와서 온천하고! 여행의 피로를 싹 풀 수 있었다. 숙소를 통해 소금호수 투어, 사막일몰 투어, 시내 투어, 터미널 이동까지 펀리하게 이용했다. 현지 투어사보다는 비쌌지만 하나하나 투어를 알아보지 않아도 되고 프라이빗 투어로 진행해서 맘에 들었다. 소금호수 투어 때 간식도 준비해주고 앉을 수 있는 깨끗한 카펫과 등받이 등을 준비해주는 등 퀄리티가 만족스러웠다. 체크아웃 시간을 연장한 거 까지 감안하면 좋은 선택이었다. 시와 시내에서 거리가 좀 떨어진 숙소라 뚝뚝이를 이용해야지만 이동이 가능한데 숙소에서 투어를 하니 이동 걱정없이 1박 2일 일정으로 충분히 시와를 즐길 수 있었다. 잘 때 추울 것 같아 말했더니 두툼한 담요도 준비해줬다.

욕실에 샴푸, 바디워시가 없음, 비치되어 있다면 여행 편의성이 높아질듯 침대 옆에 콘센트가 있으면 좋을 것 같음

早餐一般，只有鸡蛋我们都觉得很好吃

没有吹风机，没有网络，房间有些狭小，冲水马桶不是很好用，不过温泉很不错
