4 BD Family Retreat - Basement not Included

We were a family of 2 seniors and 3 adult children so the 4 bedroom house was a perfect fit! The location is actually much better than we had hoped, as it is in a subdivision on the edge of town, so nice and quiet and calm, yet only 5 mins to the grocery store and a few minutes more to the Old Town and theatres of Stratford. The bedrooms were all a good size, with plenty of closets, large comfortable beds, and lots of extra towels! An added plus was the 3 bathrooms, including the large ensuite in the master bedroom. Everything was immaculately clean, and there are nice touches to each room to make it feel more like a home. The kitchen has very modern appliances, and all the pots, pans and dishes one would need, as well as some of the basics like salt and pepper which many rentals forget to provide. And there is a very large dining room table that can seat 8 in a pinch - great for meals and socializing! The final most generous touch was that the hosts left us a beautiful Thanksgiving red velvet cake, along with a bottle of wine. Very much appreciated!

The house was exactly as described and what we needed as a family.

Location, space, comfort

Newer suburb area in Stratford. Quiet street. Comfy beds & linens. Flexible with arrival & departure times. Appreciated thoughtful cake & wine too

Bit sparse. Could use some art on walls or something to personalize the space a bit. Everything functional, just basic

The bathrooms could do with a really deep clean. Example: The counters & mirrors had splash marks on them.
