The surrounding area offers remarkable sights such as the St Marcel d'Ardeche caves, unique in Europe, or the Chauvet cave above Vallon pont D'Arc, famous for its high mineral arch. The gateway to the beautiful gorges of the Ardeche invites you to go hiking, canoeing or take a break on the sandbanks for a refreshing dip. Also visit Alba la Romaine, a listed volcanic rock village surrounded by vineyards, dominated by its imposing castle and known for its archaeological site.
