If you don't want to fish, you can pick mushrooms and berries or swim in the lake. There is a bathing area with jetties just a few minutes' walk from the house. The hiking trail around the lake runs directly in front of the house. If you want to be sure of seeing a moose, you can take part in a moose safari in Markaryd. Vallåsen Bike Park offers downhill biking on Hallandsåsen and is a real hit, as is the Kungsbygget adventure park with summer tobogganing, climbing walls, zip lines and more. The open-air museum Ingeborrarp is also worth a visit and the Pinnån nature reserve will delight any nature lover.
