Lidcombe Haven on Olympic

We loved the location - super close to Sydney Olympic Park. We stayed with 9 adults, and the property had more than enough beds. The property was modern and contained all the amenities we needed including washing machine and dryer.

The property was good value for money, however its good to be aware of: - No couch, and the small living area had 2 short benches and 2 chairs (not enough for our party of 9) - 1 or two of the double beds had broken bed frames, meaning the two people sleeping in the bed would roll into each other during the night - The TV did not work during the first half of our stay, however it was fixed, but there was very slow communication with the hosts - There were damp towels left in the washing machine when we arrived - The parking situation is very tight! If you have multiple cars and aren't confident driving in squeezy spaces, this isn't for you! - There is significant noise at night as this property is on a major road - The link we were sent with information about the property was broken, and despite many requests, we were not given a new link. The wheelie bins were completely full when we arrived, and we had no idea when to put them out! - The drain in one of the bathrooms needs a clean (not draining properly)

We arrived to find the fridge wasn’t working. 3 families all who brought lots of food for our children and we had to throw in all in the bin as it couldn’t be refrigerated. I phoned owner who advised they were aware of the issue but a part wouldn’t be arriving til the following week. If we had of just been told beforehand we could have brought portable fridges. Disappointing. Plus could do with a lounge as no comfortable seating and a couple of unpleasant discoveries due to lack of cleaning. I think was credited a small sum of money back however this wouldn’t have even covered our discarded groceries.
