Méribel studio neuf 4 personnes

Modern and clean. Location really good for town and restaurants. Pretty good for slopes too, but took us a couple of days to find the best routes to slopes/lifts. View from sitting room/sofa bed is great. WC is separate from shower room, very useful when 4 people staying. A Parking space is a joy too.

Booked for 4 people and only had towels for 2 (seriously??). Owner said they only supply 2 bath towels and 2 (very small) hand towels. Ridiculous considering it advertises 4 people and they knew we were 4. He kindly agreed to get two more delivered but the laundry company couldn’t deliver so we were then told we could collect them ourselves from laundry in town. By this stage we had stayed 2 of 4 nights so gave up on it all. I did think from photos that the bunk room actually has a separate door - but no, these beds are in the corridor opposite bathroom and separate wc. This makes it fairly noisy when people trying to sleep in bunks and others wanting to use the bathroom. Sofa bed in sitting room not particularly comfortable, but nice and wide for 2 adults. Balcony and sitting room have a fantastic view. Suggestions - supply more than half a loo roll. Supply bath towels for all guests. A floor plan on the advert would be useful to see the layout of flat. Provide information for skiers so that finding the quickest way to and from piste is easy. We thought we had to catch the bus from below apartment, but then found a pedestrian route up lots of steps to the Morel chair lift. I think this is quickest way to ski back to apartment too, but still not 100% sure. Bus system in Meribel is good to get back to apartment otherwise, bus stops are close.
