The view was beautiful. The location was quiet and away from the town.

.We understand that Grindelwald is a popular destination. Also, we have traveled to many countries in Europe and are very familiar with holiday apts. However, for the money we paid, we had expected more. Beginning with the exterior, it appears neglected. Entering the building is dark and smells unpleasant. There were no amenities to make the place feel homey: cooking seasonings, a working corkscrew, a sharp cutting knife, storage for our clothes, a welcome folder with household information and local recommendations, and fresh smelling linens would improve the place. For the amount we paid, the apartment should have provided an extra towel and access to laundry facilities, and other small touches, without incurring further expense. Finally, my husband should not have had to fix a broken shower door while we are vacationing. This apartment was a disappointment and needs attention
