Avolina’s Apartment

Het is een ruim en aangenaam appartement in een verassende rustige omgeving. Het is goed gelegen om zowel de stad te verkennen als met de trein de bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken. De host was erg vriendelijk en attent.

I like the location of the place. Napoli Porta Nolano, train- and bustation, is 8 minutes walk away, supermarket or market less than that. Napoli centrale, train-, metro-, busstation, is about 15 min walk away. Many nearby restaurants or places to visit for food, also take way. And Duomo is the nearest metrostation less than 10 minutes walk away, SpaccaNapoli can be reached within 15 minutes by walking. The rooms were huge and two rooms had airco. The balconies are cute and show the view of the neighbourhood. Certain days the old men sit on chairs talking to one another or we heard live music or fireworks. The apartment is on the 4th floor and can be reached by stairs or by an old elevator, where you insert 10 cents. The 10 cents are provided by Mariano. When we arrived the single bed wasn't made, but Mariano solved it. Note: Be sure to request all the beds and/or sofa to be made, because booking.com doesn't share the two single beds request to Mariano. Just contact Mariano for any questions.

Certain things weren't working well or broken. They should have been checked, before letting us stay. I don't want to be accused or be concerned about things not working or being dirty to use. The water cooker wasn't working, the fridge was not cold on a certain day not sure why. I turned the dial and it did work again all of a sudden. This also had impact on the freezer not being cold. The oven wasn't clean and the stove's fire igniter was broken and only two pits work. Fortunately in the drawer there was an ignitor, otherwise there would be only gass instead of fire. On a certain days the light blinked, not sure why but after an hour we heard sparks. That might be the reason every lamp, television is not plugged in the electric socket?

Great wifi. Close to multiple venues of transportation. Local restaurants were very good.

Towards the end of my stay, I had an issue with the hot water. Mariano was helpful in response and resolve.
