FIFA Houston Stay - Free Parking - 3

I like having a dishwasher machine.

The toilet seat didn't stay up, every morning I found a new bug crawling somewhere and since I was so close to the entrance I heard everyones coming going.

Proximity to everything in the city(most importantly close to the Texas medical center) clean, and comfortable bed. Also has a dishwasher and washer and dryer inside your apartment for personal use which is a nice bonus if staying a while.

Covered parking can be a bit of a squeeze so bring a smaller car if you have the option. It was even a tight fit with a vw golf. Full size trucks will have to park on the street because they won’t fit.

I chose this location for its proximity to the Menil Collection and Rothko chapel. They are must-sees in Houston. The apartment is very well-furnished. I loved having a washer and dryer as I had been traveling for weeks by the time that I arrived and needed to do laundry. I loved the location as I could walk to many great restaurants (like the Toasted Coconut) and one of my favorite cafes (Black Hole Cafe). The apartment was very comfortable and had lots of drawers and a closet (could possibly use more hangers, though).

There wasn't laundry detergent, but there are convenience stores nearby that sell it. This is very minor, but just wanted to list it in order to help others.

Communication between the apartment management and ourselves was excellent. We loved the Montrose neighbourhood! We were able to walk every morning, and met some lovely locals. The homes were beautiful, and we felt safe walking to the many restaurants in the area, even in the late evening. The apartment was very clean and suited our needs. We were able to do laundry before moving on to our next location.

The kitchen amenities ( in terms of cooking) were adequate. The parking stall was convenient and right beside the apartment, however it was pretty tight fit for a mid size SUV. The apartment gate wasn't functional.
