Gite au cœur du village du Périgord noir

La maison était charmante, le coin magnifique, et l'hôtesse disponible pour nos questions

La chambre dans les combles pour la chaleur ( mais pas facile de faire autrement), nous avions un ventilateur ;)

Période canicule, il faisait très très chaud dans la chambre du haut ,il y avait bien un ventilateur mais pas assez puissant

1.Wrong password for WiFi posted on wall. This was important because of lack of media coverage. I wasted an hour on telephone with remote proprietor trying to get on WiFi. Either I was first customer or owner had not corrected problem after use by others. 2. No sheets on bed nor towels furnished. Owner did provide a hygienic, paper mattress cover and paper pillowcases. This was not stated on Booking. Luckily, as a hiker, I carry both a camp sheet and a camp towel. 3. The gas stove did not work. After more telephone calls to the remote owner, I had to descend into the basement to find the gas cylinders and turn on the gas. Even after doing this, the stove did not work initially, although after a 20 minute pause, it worked. 4. Remote owner/host. Had all these things been corrected, or at least, explained, the gîte would have gotten a perfect score from me.
