Scarborough Cottage

Cosy, extremely comfortable, and well-appointed Queenslander style cottage, situated amongst vineyard with spectacular backdrop and kangaroo visitors upon our arrival. Interiors of this cottage were first rate, with beautiful architectural details, great airflow with screen doors on all four sides, and great sitting areas for morning coffee and afternoon sunsets. This cottage is also associated with the owners of the Scarborough Cellar Door Wine Co, where we toured for a wine tasting and were greeted by a very knowledgable and accommodating hostess named Kellie! Kellie took us through the history of the Scarborough Wine Co and the family that owned this incredible property with panoramic views of the Hunter Valley! Our wine tasting was incredible, and we purchased one of their bottles of wine called The Obsessive Semillon. The wine is produced from the harvested grapes from the vineyard that surrounds Scarborough Cottage, in which we stayed. It was a lovely keepsake to take home! It was truly a spectacular afternoon and a great visit to Hunter Valley in New South Wales!
