Apartamento Convento das Bernadas Tavira

The pool is stunning and unique, creating a serene environment. The apartment was comfortable with amenities like washing machine and even a bathtub! We liked reading about the history of the convent and its conversion.

It felt impersonal, like an investment property managed from afar - while some people seem to live in the complex. The apartment could use more thoughtful touches like a bigger couch, more than one pillow, more than one roll of toilet paper provided, etc.

Excellent emplacement. Nous n’avions pas de voiture et tout était à une courte distance (marché, restaurants, épiceries). La piscine est exceptionnelle. Les lieux sont très jolis.

Nous avions 2 chaises extérieures seulement alors que nous étions 3 et que le logement peut accueillir 5-6 personnes. Aussi, nous avons attendus un certain moment avant de pouvoir récupérer les clés même si l’heure d’arrivée avait être respectée. Enfin, des serviettes pour la piscine seraient appréciées. Malgré ces quelques irritants nous n’hésiterions pas à retourner à cet endroit qui est vraiment très bien.

One of the best conversions I’ve ever seen of a historic building. The swimming pool is exceptionally nice and a very good size for the properties. It is an exceptionally nice location, very secure, beautiful pool and a perfect distance from Tavira’s centre. It is about 10 minutes walk. I never heard any external noise.

I found it strange that it had no oven. I like to cook and there was an excellent market nearby and an oven would have been handy a couple of days when I did not feel like eating out. A good air fryer would be an adequate alternative. Perhaps some more sun beds could be added. They are in high demand. Other than that the facilities were very good.

La piscina enorme y con poca gente Estaba limpio

En lugar de almohadas ponen cojines. Lo reclamamos y nos dicen que eso es lo que hay . Pagas ese dineral por quedarte ahi y no pudimos dormir del dolor de cuello. No poder descansar fue lo peor. Los dos baños se inundan cuando te duchas . El agua llegaba al dormitorio. Son tres pisos y es un poco incómodo tener que subir tanta escalera. Por Booking nos dicen que el checking lo podemos hacer a las 13 y el día de antes nos dice una señora por WhatsApp que no , que a las 15. Al final llegamos pronto y nos dejaron entrar.
