Location was great. Accommodating host. Very comfortable apartment in a great building. Gym and pool in the building. Supermarket across the street.

I was surprised that an apartment of this standard didn't have a Nespresso style coffee machine. I understand it is Melbourne and there is a coffee culture but it is still nicer to start the day with a coffee 'at home'. Also, there really wasn't much in the way of cooking equipment to make a decent meal at the apartment - there is one frying pan, one saucepan, no deep baking pans and no microwave dishes.

It was quiet and I felt safe and relaxed there. Even though we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much as we wanted that was a pretty positive experience as well.

I think the only thing that I didn’t like was having to park my car else where as I would’ve liked to have parked it on the premises but even that we enjoyed getting out and seeing the city.

We booked a 4-day stay. We requested early check-in as we were arriving from overseas early morning so we can clean ourselves up and rest. Although early check-in wasn't possible due to previous occupancy, the host allowed us to leave our luggage in the unit around 1.30pm so we can walk about. However upon returning to the unit at 3.00pm, the unit was not cleaned and ready until 4.10pm, well past the standard 3.00pm check-in time. In recompense, the host allowed us to check out before noon on our last day, which we were grateful for, but damage had already been done.
