Beautiful land and yard, overlooking woods and wildlife. The house has large clean living room and upper floor for relaxing; back porch and screened in porch are spacious. The outdoor “furniture “ is weak and inadequate and the smokeyjoe isn’t a good grilling option- there is no other grill. Master bedroom is roomy with plenty of closet space. The linens are worn and dingy as are the towels and mats in the bathrooms. Some of the pillows are stained and linens should be replaced with fresh new ones. The kitchen stove is faulty and concerning with semi-functioning burners and knobs. Fire hazard? Not sure. The coffee pot is inadequate and flimsy. Near-empty condiment bottles in the fridge-not sure why. But no sugar, paper napkins or olive oil. A collection of bugs of an unknown variety gathered and died in a kitchen cabinet. The over abundance of rugs in the kitchen is a tripping hazard-we tripped so many times that we had to put some out. Throw out the ancient toaster oven. The kitchen just felt off-putting and grimy. Private drive up to the property is pleasant until you see the garage dump there with a multitude of items: train car, automobile tires, metal debris, and other items creating a massive eyesore. Never saw the permanent renter living below but they were heard loud and clear. Most of the unpleasant but minor issues could easily be fixed inexpensively. The larger issues, the noisy neighbors and the garage dump could potentially be overlooked if everything else was crisp, clean and fresh.

This house was well located for our needs. The wedding venue was a hilltop field 3 minutes away. On the hot days, we could have used some fans in the bedrooms. Also, the house was supposed to have 2 full beds, 1 queen and 1 twin. Instead there were 2 twins which wasn't suitable for the 3 couples staying there. The downstairs neighbors interrupted sleep at times. Overall, a lot of space for our family to visit during the wedding week. Nice kitchen, living room and screened-in porch.
