Kniebis, a gem of a health resort in the Black Forest, is a true hidden gem for nature lovers. The village is situated on one of the Black Forest’s most beautiful plateaus and is known as a vacation destination in both summer and winter. You’ll be staying in a modern, fully furnished vacation apartment on the third floor. The highlight is the on-site swimming pool. (Unfortunately, due to damage to the liner, it will not be available for the time being.) The apartment also features a lovely balcony with patio furniture. Free parking is also available.
The vacation apartment offers ideal conditions for a relaxing vacation in the nature-rich Northern Black Forest. It’s the perfect starting point for hikes, walks, and bike rides. In winter, the cross-country ski trail and toboggan run—which are illuminated in the evenings—are just a few meters away.
We highly recommend the Kniebiser Heimatpfad, which has been designated a premium hiking trail. Here you’ll find a wonderful overlook and a ten-kilometer hiking trail full of surprises. Explore the beautiful forests of the Black Forest on foot or by bike.
Just three kilometers away lies the Black Forest National Park with its impressive variety of landscapes. Here you’ll find dark forests, idyllic valleys, lakes, moors, and treeless ridges.
Great options for day trips include Lake Mummel, Europapark Rust, or day trips to the cities of Strasbourg, Baden-Baden, Freiburg, Tübingen, Stuttgart, or Karlsruhe. So there are plenty of ways to explore the surrounding area and enjoy the diversity of the Black Forest.
