Escape to Glynsk Pier Cottage, your private waterfront retreat on the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way. With breathtaking, panoramic views of Bertraghboy Bay, this cozy 3-bedroom cottage is the perfect home base for exploring Connemara.
The heart of the cottage is a bright, open-plan living space designed for relaxation. Unwind on comfortable couches in front of the open fireplace on a cool evening, or simply enjoy the incredible views through the large picture windows. The space also includes a dining area with seating for six and a TV for entertainment.
The fully-fitted kitchen has everything you need for your culinary adventures. For your convenience, the cottage is also equipped with a washer and dryer.
Sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests across three bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: A spacious king-size bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: A cozy double bedroom.
Bedroom 3: A second cozy double bedroom.
A second full bathroom, complete with a hair dryer, is also available for guest use. Step outside to enjoy the fresh sea air from the outdoor furniture and witness the glorious sunsets over the bay.
We provide the following to ensure a comfortable stay:

A cot/crib is available upon request for our youngest guests.
For your peace of mind, the cottage is equipped with smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher.

What a picturesque location! Getting up and looking out the front door every morning was a dream! House was clean and comfortable. Property manager was very nice and communicative.

Great location for a drive around Connemara, a visit to the Aran Islands and a day to Dog's Bay. One of the highlights was a close encounter with 3 cuckoos fighting over territory or a female. They called and circled for about an hour over the house.

The property is in a lovely remote location and there is plenty in the surrounding area to explore. The house keeper is really helpful and provided great information about the area and facilities - local eating places etc.
With regard to the property it is getting a little tired and wasn't too happy about the use of extension leads, one of which fed the fridge and didn't actually work. With the house manager's help we managed to sort this out. minor gripe - the curtains didn't provide any reduction in light which some might not worry about.
My main problem with the property is we were a group of five adults and one baby and the kitchen is just totally inadequate for that number of people. it would be fine to just heat up some simple food but not prepare a full meal.
The above said it was very clean and tidy and has a nice lounge area.
