We can't say enough nice things about our stay here! The best thing about it is really the host, Giosef, who is incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is great, really close to Pienza - if there's no terrible heatwave, it's a short walk up to town so you don't have to worry about parking. If you choose to drive, park in one of the lots outside town and it's still easy. The rooms are spacious and the living room comfortable, and the air conditioning is excellent. Even though it's a historic building, the apartments are so well remodeled they have all the modern comforts, and there are lots of little touches like inset lights in the stairs etc that show the care that was put into the remodel (that Giosef designed, actually) Have dinner on the patio for amazing views and delicious food and home-made pasta. You can do an olive oil tasting on site with their own olive oil and bring some home with you. The laundry machine is easy to use, and the patio is a great place to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the view. Pienza is a good place to base out of if you want to visit places like Montepulciano, Montalcino etc. There's a supermarket a short drive away, near a nice place to have breakfast pastries and there's lots of great restaurants and gelato in town. This was my family's favorite place to stay on our trip, and my teens even said 'wow, how did you find this place?' Everyone agreed though, that Giosef was the best.

Giosef is a wonderful and friendly host, he made us feel welcome from before we had even arrived. Great communication, provided lots of info and advice which was really helpful, super friendly and responsive to messages. Ensuring his guests enjoy their stay and have everything they need is clearly the priority, such a lovely host. The view when we arrived is a wow moment, stunning views across the valley in front of the property and beautiful Pienza on the hill behind, stunning location. Apartment is traditional, which is befitting of being part of a working farmhouse, very comfortable and cool in the hot weather with everything you need and a good size for two people. Own terrace, the views, hammocks and sun loungers to spend time relaxing in the bird filled garden and Pienza a short walk (uphill but offering more spectacular views) away…Pienza was one of the most beautiful villages we visited.

Giosef ist einfach supersympatisch und ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können dies nur sehr empfehlen.

Great location and the local family were so welcoming, we felt at home. We loved our daily walks into Pienza, and enjoyed the valley views from our balcony. Sunrises and sunsets were just stunning. Thanks for a relaxing staff with our 9 month old, it was just perfect!
