Botanika Estate Private Pool Villa

As usual, people were very nice and always available to assist with anything. They would come and clean everything, including the pool, every day. The location is very good, very close to restaurants, grocery shops and laundry. The room and walk in closet are unreal. Very spacious and the TV is big and smart tv. Great for those rainy days.

Just missing some amenities that would have been useful for me personally, like a kettle (for tea and coffee) or a washing machine

my Friends and i enjoy this modern villa. Mr.Pastika and Housekeeping Team work amazing in providing warm hospitality to us. We Hope to come back again next year

Property doesn't match the online description. Mould, insects everywhere. Blood stains in the linen. Bathroom blind Waa broker so the construction workers next door were watching us everything we went to the bathroom

Management refused to comment and left us on our own. We checked out in less than 24 hours.

We had a good stay at the villa in the Canggu/Pererenan area. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants, fitness centers, and wellness spots, which made it easy to enjoy both leisure and healthy living. The villa itself was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief in the Bali heat. The bed was cozy and provided restful sleep. We also appreciated the clean towels and the reliable daily maid service, which kept everything fresh and tidy.

What we didn’t like was the pool—it was quite small and only received sunlight for about 90 minutes a day due to the positioning of the house. It felt more like a plunge pool than a full-sized one, though that wasn’t a major issue. The breakfast was certainly disappointing. The selection was limited and not very appetizing, and we found ourselves struggling each day to choose something. Eventually, we stopped ordering it altogether. While the breakfast was inexpensive as an add-on, it simply wasn’t worth it.

It was pretty big and spacious, everything looked neat and tidy.

The fact that they came into my room daily, but wouldn't change my towels daily. So they would let themselves in - to make my bed? I am confused as to what they were actually doing, they weren't changing bed linen everyday which is acceptable, but the towels were always damp everytime we went to shower so I had to ask daily for new towels, and they weren't delivered straight away, I had to wait until they came back from the laundry ( not on site. ) Speaking of laundry, the manager said he could provide us with a laundry service, 4AUD per KG. Except the laundromat left the receipt in the bag, and it cost them only 1AUD per KG. I don't mind a markup if you're honest about it, but 4x the price on the sky? Yeah no thank you. It would of been nice when they send the cleaners in every day, if they could have the pool cleaned for you. By the third day, it was just covered in leaves and not enticing to get into. We had noisy neighbours with kids screaming at all hours of the morning, and when I yelled out to shut up, multiple times, no one listened. I messaged the manager and he did nothing about it. Truly upsetting, I just wanted to relax in Bali but I could not with this villa.

Hands Off style of hosting. I liked that I had minimal contact. the bed was made and dishes were cleaned daily.

If I needed the hosts it would have been slightly difficult. I didn't really see anyone during my stay in person beyond the key handover in the beginning. I didn't need anything and actually ended up staying longer as enjoyed the peace and quiet. I didn't receive breakfast

TL;DR: Disastrous experience at Botanika Estate. From poor communication, dirty rooms, dirty pool and chlorine smell (we couldn't use the pool at all anyday), lack of towels or toilet paper for a day, and unfulfilled promises, our stay was not what we expected for the price. The villa was poorly maintained, and we never got the proper service we paid for. We recently stayed at Botanika Estate Private Pool Villa in Canggu from April 17 to April 20, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. For the price, we expected a high standard of service and cleanliness, but we faced several issues that made our stay unpleasant. The Problems: Location & Arrival: While the villa isn't centrally located, we hoped for a luxury experience, but there was no one to greet us, and we waited 20 minutes for somebody to open the door. Villa Condition: The villa we were given was poorly maintained, with the lights off and a dark, neglected atmosphere. Upon entering, we found an unmade bed and a dirty bathroom, which was a very poor first impression. Pool & Amenities: The pool was dirty and unusable. We also lacked towels and toilet paper, and after contacting Booking and the manager, we didn't receive a reply for hours. Poor Communication: The manager missed scheduled meetings, offered a massage instead of addressing the real issues, and blamed maintenance delays for the poor conditions. Unwanted Compensation: We were offered a couples massage, but we wanted a villa that met the promised standards, not a massage. Final Disappointment: When we returned, the villa smelled of chlorine, and the pool remained unusable. The manager wasn’t even present during checkout. Conclusion: This villa was far from the luxury experience we expected. Poor communication, dirty conditions, and unfulfilled promises made it a disappointing stay. We regret choosing this villa and hope the management takes these concerns seriously.

- AC 2nd floor quite hot - please provide alternative if people wanted breakfast earlier (earliest breakfast at 9 am) - parking spot is very limited (hard to park an LCGC) - noise in the pool during night hours & sometimes the lights went off during the night
