We were there for Christmas, so it's a perfect place for a family celebration. The fireplace, beautiful views, and quiet just make the holiday even more special. The hosts, Panos and his sister, are very kind. I highly recommend them!

Our recent experience at Taygeti Mountain Lodge was great. The location in the mountains offers exceptional views towards Mystras and Sparta, and is an ideal base for hiking excursions. The property provides direct access to several walking trails, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
The host was very friendly and easy to contact. The house is well-equipped and the cupboards are stocked with the basics. The layout is slightly quirky with access to the second bedroom either through the first bedroom or via an external door to the bathroom.
If you enjoy hiking, we would highly recommend the circular trail walk from the doorstep, down the gorge to the riverbed and back up to the ruins of Mystras Castle. You can then explore the whole of the byzantine Mystras site at your leisure, end up at Xenia, a fantastic taverna at the lower entrance to the site. After refreshments, head a short stroll down the road towards Mystras town and start the hike back up the Taygeti Mountain Lodge via the 2nd part of the trail.
We would love to return and explore some of the others walks in the area!

Υπέροχο μέρος, ησυχία και γαλήνη. Επίσης υπέροχο σπίτι , με ρετρό στυλ αλλά είχε όλες τις ανέσεις. Πολύ δροσερό, δεν χρειάστηκε καν να ανάψουμε aircontition.
