When our VRBO reservation had a squatter in it and we were only offered hotels rooms we were so blessed to find this gem on Bookings.
I think it was even better than our original reservation and we were able to book it at the last minute. Thank you !
This home is in an incredible location. We were worried because we had never heard of Fox Island but we are so glad we took a chance .
It’s easy to get to and was a perfect setting for our family gathering. We will definitely be back!
We were able to launch kayaks from the dock, play lawn games by the water, and enjoy cooking together in the spacious kitchen.
From our kayaks we were able to hang out with the harbor seals and spot jelly fish, schools of fish and sea stars during a very low tide.Magic!
The refrigerator wasn’t working and we weren’t offered a discount. We had no ice for cocktails and difficulty keeping our food and beverages cold.
The manager was aware of the problem and she had already scheduled a repair person. Unfortunately, he was unable to fix it.
The manager was extremely kind and apologetic.
We were just so gratefully to be here that we made it work and didn’t let it ruin our vacation.

View was fantastic and the place was clean and beds were comfortable.
Fireplaces didn't work, refrigerator in the kitchen didn't work, one of the dishwashers didn't work, The battery operated candles didn't work (the electricity went out one night, so that would have been helpful). The outdoor furniture near the kitchen should have been replaced a long time ago. The extra fridges in the pantry weren't very big and getting to them was awkward. Could have also used an updated and more complete welcome book.
