The tiny village becomes a party venue on Friday and Saturday nights so very noisy late into night

This is a very spacious property which has been thoughtfully furnished. Very clean and lovely soft towels. The kitchen is equipped well enough for a short stay, just expect lots of empty cupboards! There’s a useful patio area which would be lovely for an evening glass. Unfortunately for us it was just too hot but in a more normal English summer it would be great.

Disappointing that the water pressure reported on these reviews in March is still an issue. Turn the tap on and the water pump wakes the dead! The attic rooms were unusable due to the heat so one guest had to use alternative accommodation. The host had done what they could by leaving fans but they just weren’t up to the exceptional heat. Toiletries were sparse/empty. This is a lovely quirky property which needs some repairs and a little TLC. Expect road noise and the smell of smoke to occasionally waft in. Be realistic, the property is on a road above a bar!
