AC - Secure Parking - Near Central Station

Die Unterkunft liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum von Avignon entfernt und befindet sich dennoch in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Wir haben uns sowohl in der Wohnung als auch in der gesamten Anlage sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Anlage ist gut gesichert, da sämtliche Türen und Tore per Code zugänglich sind. Zwar haben wir den Vermieter nicht persönlich getroffen, jedoch reagierte er stets sehr schnell auf unsere Fragen und stellte uns bereits vor der Anreise einen hervorragenden Guide mit vielen nützlichen Tipps zur Verfügung. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe verlief dank der detaillierten Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung mit Fotos völlig problemlos. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und der Balkon liebevoll mit Blumen gestaltet und gepflegt. Da unser Balkon morgens noch im Schatten lag, konnten wir dort das Frühstück bei angenehmen Temperaturen und geöffneter Balkontür genießen. Avignon selbst ist absolut sehenswert und eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region. Wir haben von dort unter anderem Nîmes und den Pont du Gard besucht. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft mit hervorragender Lage, guter Organisation und einem aufmerksamen Gastgeber – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The lift wasn't working

The apartment was clean, had a washing machine, plenty of space, and 2 reasonable sized bedrooms with a small outdoor balcony. Easy walking distance to the Popes palice.

So if like me, you are a little older, you may struggle like we did to gain entry to this apartment. The pictures sent circled 18, but there was no key box. After messaging back and forth for half an hour, my husband was informed he had to download an app called Dropbox. The keys were in a bizarre and random spot two streets away. Inside the lift is tiny, so therefore, no room for a wheelchair Parking isn't explained, but you have a key that lowers a bar in the ground, and that's the space you take . I think the flat was positioned next to the refuse shoots, so on a hot day, it stunk outside the flat, but thankfully, not inside
