This was my first time staying in an appartment instead of a hostel as a solo and low-budget traveler and I am so glad I did after my experience here. I spent long days walking around Naples and neighbouring areas (100% reccommend, Ercolano, Salerno and Procida <3) and coming back exhausted to a cool, quiet and clean appartment felt very comforting. I was able to wind down, cook a nice meal and plan my next day in peace with no worries.
- The host was polite, friendly, and provided free sparkling water in the fridge (which I really appreciated as Naples was very hot in June!) and toiletries.
- Excellent communication - the host was quick and helpful in responding via Whatsapp.
- The appartment was spotless and had everything I needed for my short stay (cooker, hairdryer, hangers, kettle, pans/collander and crockery etc.) with plenty of store cupboard staples too.
- It is in a great family neighbourhood. The appartment is next to several grocery stores and there is a supermarket literally opposite the appartment as well as another a short walk away.
- A safe and relatively easy walk to the city centre but also lots of buses if you want to save your energy. (Tip: I got a bus from near the appartment to the airport instead of getting the Alibus from the station which saved me a lot of time).
- Great shower and Wifi
- The appartment is very quiet once you close the windows and I slept really well. Any noise outside when you have the windows open is just people out and about late and night and a few cars; I felt very safe staying by myself.
Couple of things to note for future guests:
- Found some of the plug sockets temperamental which would either not work or occasionally spark when I plugged in my phone or the hairdryer but this didn't inhibit me being able to use all appliances :)
- The door lock is a little stiff to open which made me panic the first night coming back late but you just need to be firm when turning the key.

We moesten op de slaapbank slapen, deze was erg oncomfortabel en doordat we geen gebruik konden maken van het bed op de vide was de ruimte een stuk kleiner.
