    Where to start: They should call this place ‘The RIP’ because we felt ripped off. I booked this hotel through Agoda. Checked out, went home and reviewed my credit card statements and found out that I was charged TWICE. One by agoda and one by the property itself. Called customer service and the lady I talked to the first time was nice and created a case number for me. She informed me to wait 24 hrs before contacting them so I did - called after 30 hrs I think. I dialled and told them I have a case number. They hung up on me not once but 3 TIMES! The supervisor said I was supposed to wait 48 hrs. Well no one told me that and then they said I should have gotten an email which I DID NOT. Hotel itself - would not categorize this hotel as 5 star. Service was lacking - it feels like the workers here hate their job and you won’t be greeted by smiles, amenities are so-so and food was very mediocre - the app that they use for dinner reservations don’t even work and it’s always sold out. It seems that they just want you to think they have nice restaurants but nope it’s only for a limited number of people. It’s nice that you can order the drinks from the bar whenever you want to but the bartenders don’t even put the effort. I ordered a manhattan and they gave me a non descript pink drink that has tequila probably. The hotel room - it was okay nothing special has a weird moldy type of smell. Stay away. There are probably better hotels in Curaçao.

    Overall a good experience, great staff, great service. Beat way to improve is the restaurants. The food is ok but not stellar. The flow of the restaurants is lacking and maybe just need some culinary/hospitality professional oversight to help make better

    The hotel itself is great, the food is excellent, and the environment is clean, but unfortunately, the staff is extremely rude. I waited for over an hour to check into the room, even though I was there at 4:00 PM, and the attendants simply treated me poorly as if giving me a room was a favor. We were informed that we could only make reservations at the restaurants until 4:00 PM, but since we arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM, we didn't even have time for that. Luckily, we later found a single employee who helped us, because the rest were unfortunately quite bad. On the last day, I unfortunately injured myself on the waterslide because the descent is fast and the pool is shallow. Because of this, I ended up missing the checkout time, and I almost had to beg to be able to retrieve my belongings from the room. Overall, very good, but the people are awful!
