Terra Losa 2 - Quiet and modern apartment - City center

We loved this appartement. It’s spacious, really nicely furbished, all brand new. Anything we could think of was present. There is even a washing & dryer machine, which is very practical to give the sweaty trekking gear a quick wash. On top it’s in a great location, just a few minutes walk from a nice bakery, a supermarket, restaurants, farmacy, bus stop, mountain gear rental shop, train station. We stayed there a week and never used our car (for which by the way there is a parking spot reserved in the underground parking lot of the building). With the guest card they give you, you have free access to the train (station is just a 10 min walk away). Also the village of Les Houches is really nice, a lot less crowded than Chamonix and a nice mountain vibe to it. Also the local agency Care Concierge who takes care of managing keys/codes etc is very efficient. I never had to contact them directly as all had been well prepared and the necessary information shared upfront, but it’s a good feeling to know they have their office close by in case there would be a problem they could help out. I did not add any pictures of the appt itself as it looks exactly like on the pictures they posted.

Difficult to find something that we did not like. If I would be very very picky it would be the pressure of the water, which to shower is a bit on the low side, at least not like one is used to in the mountains, but it would for sure not be a reason not to book there again.

Stijlvol ingericht appartement , met kwalitatieve toestellen en materialen. Het appartement was zeer net en proper gepoetst. 's Nachts is het rustig. Zeer goede bedden. Beddenlakens en handdoeken van prima kwaliteit ! Pluspunt was dat de auto veilig in een afgesloten garage stond. Het warenhuis was vlakbij, het station was op wandelafstand. In een kwartiertje kon je met de trein naar Chamonix. Gratis met gastenkaart. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Geen negatieve punten. In de reviews had ik gelezen dat er een probleem was met het warm water in de douche. Dit was bij ons zeker niet het geval. Het duurt wel lang voor het water in de douche warm wordt , maar dit is waarschijnlijk doordat het appartement op de derde verdieping gelegen is. Wij hadden elke dag goed warm water.

Cleanliness could be better. In the bathroom and shower, attention to details need to be improved. Dust sitting on baseboard tiles, vents in kitchen area and bathrooms have a lot of lint build up. Kitchen cupboards need to be emptied and deep cleaned.

Accessing the property required watching an instructional video. After a journey of over 20+ hours, arriving with a depleted phone battery made this process unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. There was no hot water in the bathrooms, and the stove was not functioning properly. Given the price paid, this is unacceptable—reliable hot water is a basic essential, and not being able to take a hot shower or bath was far from acceptable. It was especially frustrating to learn that previous reviews had already highlighted the same issue. Had we known it would still be unresolved, we would have chosen a different property. Despite several attempts to have these problems addressed during our stay, they were not resolved in a timely manner. The cleaning ahead of our arrival seemed rushed, with crumbs left in all kitchen drawers and a dirty oven.
