Golden Empire Desert Camps

If you come to Jaisalmer we highly reccomend this place. The “tents” are clean and each has its own bathroom with a hot running shower. But it was the staff who made the stay very special, with a tailor made tasty dinner for Xmas eve. Nothing was a problem for the very attentive staff. We left early this morning and they were happy to set up a full buffet breakfast earlier than their usual time. Fluffy idli and hot bhature delivered to the table. There are so many exciting actives to be done - camel safari, ATV. We had an amazing stay and would definitely reccomend!

Excellent location, right next to Sam Dunes. Staff were polite and helpful. Desert jeep safari, camel ride, evening cultural program were arranged by the management and were enjoyable. Food was a decent fare considering it is just a desert camp. Sam dunes was just a few minutes walk, ideal for those who come to Jaisalmer primarily to experience the dunes.

We had a very enjoyable 1 night stay. The people were very helpful, gracious and friendly. Raghu and Sarup were good hosts and majit took us on a jeep safari including a peaceful dunes area. The dance and music performance in the evening were interesting. They also had good snacks during the performance. Buffet dinner and breakfast were included. All in all a very unique and enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Staying in this tent was an unforgettable experience. The blend of traditional Rajasthani charm with modern comfort made it truly special. Surrounded by the serene desert landscape, the tent offered warmth, hospitality, and a peaceful escape that felt both royal and homely. It perfectly captured the soul of Rajasthan and left me with beautiful memories..
