great home in Waukegan for navy graduate families close distance to navy base!!

We stayed for 4 nights. The house worked out well for all of us. We were there for my son's Navy Graduation. We had a nice stay and we would stay again!

The place was great for our mini family vacation. Very welcoming and clean, spacious rooms and the game room was a perfect addition. I Definitely recommend it. Very close to the navy base for those families that have future recruits graduating.

Good communication with host from start to finish.

Positives: Great spot for a Navy graduation, spotless home, good layout for larger groups, good price point, comfy beds, and lots of parking (be sure to understand the parking rules). Negatives: I had to reach out to the host in order to get check-in details, the security alarm went off when we first arrived and at midnight the day we were leaving, the house is very close to a fire station so you hear sirens all night long, the house is a multi-level floor plan (hard for a disabled person), we unpluged 8 air fresheners because they were so overpowering, and there were rules that were not given until it was too late to cancle. For example, a list of large fees was sent to me outlining charges for not cleaning the BBQ or popcorn maker if used, not putting away clean dishes at checkout, for spraying water out of the shower, or for flushing feminine products. These things should be outlined in the description. The host did reach out to ask if there was anything he could do to make up for the security alarm issue. Overall: This house met our needs. The location, price, and cleanliness were fabulous. I would book again, but only because I know all the details.
