Peaceful cottage in Marigot bay 2 mins walk to beach

My wife and I spent 2 nights here and it was very comfortable, the restaurant on the waterfront in Marigot Bay was out of this world after walking through the mangrove to see all the boats anchored and others sailing in and out of bay. We loved the beach which was accessed via a boat across the bay. Only area to improve is the road access which is concrete built but requires some maintenance. Other than that stay was wonderful. The wonderful staff were perhaps the best part of our experience. Pre-stay communication was excellent, as it was once we were onsite. We were late arriving (they arranged pickup at the ferry terminal as well as drop off at the airport) and hadn't eaten, and though the restaurant kitchen was closed, they still made a late night dinner for us, and had stocked our kitchen with coffee and milk for the morning - very thoughtful! The breakfast which was included in the price of our stay exceeded our expectations. We thought it would be a bare bones breakfast, but it was a full meal which we ordered off the menu. The walk down to the restaurant through the mangroves is quick, well lit and fun! The only part I found wasn't well represented in the listing was the proximity to the beach. While it is a quick walk to Marigot Bay (the bay itself), a water taxi is required to get to the town side or to the beach side. The water taxi is fast though, and free!
