About this house rental
Quiet beachfront villa with loads of character and atmosphere, shaded by almond trees and lullaby-ed by the front yard's ocean waves. Miles of quiet and clean sandy beaches for walking, biking, or running.
Surfing out front for either beginner or expert surfers. Average air and water temperature is 85 degrees. Monkeys and Scarlet Macaws visit the lucky hammock napper. Restaurants and bars within walking distance to a town full of local hospitality and charm. Everyone is made to feel at home.
The villa is comfortably decorated and appointed. The focal point is the large veranda overlooking the beach and ocean. The perfect spot for morning coffee, meals and enjoying your favorite book. With his own tank of water, you can be confident that you are going to continuously have water!
Out the living room door in the back yard is a large, covered rancho for BBQ and meal prep entertaining.
Each bedroom is private and appointed with ceiling fan and air conditioner. 3 bedrooms have a queen size bed and one with 2 singles. Open your window for the ocean breeze and the sound of folding waves to sleep by.
The floor plan is an open one for group and family participation in all activities. The kitchen, counter bar, dining area and living room overlook the beach and ocean through large windows inviting the outside in. Now we also have Starlink Wi-Fi to provide you the best internet that you can need to enjoy more your stay.
Sunrise to Sunset: Start your day with fresh coconut milk from the palm trees and sunrise on the beach; and because the property is south facing, turn your chair around and grab a sun-downer in the evening for sunset from the same spot. There are plenty of activities to enjoy yourself in between or just relax with none at all.

Our family of 7 loved staying at Casa Tortuga! It was probably our favorite place we stayed in Costa Rica - right across the street from a beautiful beach, very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need for cooking, beach towels provided, in short: highly recommended!

Marla the host was great. House was nice and had most everyone we needed. However, the water from the tap was 1) Un-drinkable, 2) turned off between noon and 6pm daily, and 3) when it was available there was little to no pressure. Finally the living room didn’t have AC so it was super hot which cause everyone to hang out in their room to stay cool rather that hanging out as a family.
+1 star if Owner is looking to add a water storage tank to fix the above issues which would raise my rating to to a 4
