Surrounded by lush forest and showcasing breathtaking mountain views, this cottage is nestled at the foot of the White Mountains close to many ski resorts including Bretton Woods, Canon, Wildcat, Attitash, and Loon. Enjoy many waterfall hikes at Ripley Falls and Arethusa Falls, and others. Crawford Notch, Santa's Village, and the Cog Railway are not far away. And, the nearby towns of Littleton and Lancaster provide all the amenities of modern life, along with high-end restaurants, cafes, and nightlife. Other attractions include Forest Lake State Park and the town of Whitefield, both within a three-mile radius, and Bretton Woods is only 17 miles away where you can enjoy your choice of downhill or Nordic skiing in the winter. Tee it up on the Mount Washington Resort Golf Course in the summer.
The cottage features a furnished front deck complete with a gas grill for summertime cookouts. The living area, with a gas fireplace, offers cozy home comfort when you're ready to relax inside. The sunny full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals for the whole family. Additional home essentials include free WiFi and a private washer/dryer.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

It was nice and quiet

The house was nice enough -- great view, nice outdoor space, and the gas fire was a nice, cozy touch. Easy access to lots of things. More or less as advertised, and check in/out was smooth! (We appreciated that there was NOT a long list of cleaning items we were supposed to do before check out!).
Two things I'll flag that weren't clear to us from the posting: first, the place is on a main road and the traffic was surprisingly noisy. I was expecting something a little more secluded from the pictures. It was not that big a deal for us, but if you are looking for a very quiet place, this is not it!
Second, there is a steep set of stairs to get to the main living space (kitchen, bed, bath). (Based on pics we assumed, incorrectly, that we'd enter on the main level and could go up or down stairs as needed.) Not at all an issue for able-bodied adults, but it did pose an unexpected challenge for one person in our party who has more limited mobility. (It's possible this was in the fine print somewhere and we missed it.)
