The high-quality furnishings are complemented by antiques and state-of-the-art technology to make your stay something very special.
A spacious living room with dining area and leather sofa and a beautiful bedroom with a large bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub guarantee a high level of comfort.

Haus Falkenberg - originally a hotel - offers an ideal base for families and couples to relax and enjoy leisure activities. Sufficient free parking spaces are available for the guests of the approx. 50 flats. The flats are mainly used as private holiday flats. The tranquillity of the Oberstdorf mountains is only interrupted from time to time by the sound of bells - the bell tower bells of the Tiefenbach church of St Barbara and the cow bells, both of which help you to experience the traditions of the Allgäu to the full.

We originally designed the flat for our family use, with great attention to detail as a real feel-good place to relax.
However, we would like to share the rustic cosiness so that our guests can also enjoy spending wonderful days in the Allgäu.
The equipment is very comfortable and especially Allgäu lovers who enjoy good technology, fast internet and media enjoyment after their activities will certainly appreciate this.

The Allgäu - a place that invites you to go hiking, cycling, wellness and good food. A place with historic towns, culture, festivals and lots of tradition. A place with mountains, vast hills and tranquil lakes. A place for living, modern work and innovation.

Tiefenbach
Please do not misunderstand: Tiefenbach lies around 150 metres above Oberstdorf and offers magnificent views of the Oberstdorf mountains.
Tiefenbach was discovered early on as a spa town. Today, Tiefenbach delights visitors with its scenic highlights and cosy village romance.
It takes its name from the "Tueffen", which we now call mountain pines.
Tiefenbach itself consists of different areas that look like small villages in their own right: Räppele (on the district road), Wasach, Winkel, Lochwiesen, Ferlewang, Oib, Bachtel and Gsessel are just some of the many areas.

Breitach Gorge

The most famous sight in Tiefenbach is certainly the Breitachklamm, Central Europe's deepest rocky gorge. The Breitach itself has its source in Baad in Kleinwalsertal and is around 21 kilometres long. It flows in a north-westerly direction, first through the Kleinwalsertal valley and then through the Breitach valley of the same name. At the Walserschanze, the Austrian-German border, the river reaches German territory and from here, roaring loudly, forces its way through the mighty Breitachklamm gorge. At the source of the Iller on the northern outskirts of Oberstdorf, the Breitach, together with the Trettach and Stillach, then forms the Iller.

Preferably high up!

Yes, up into the mountains, whether in summer or winter, guests can take the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal cable cars up and into the mountain world of the Allgäu Alps at any time of year.
Fellhorn/Kanzelwand, Nebelhorn, Walmendingerhorn, Heuberg, Söllereck and Ifen offer unique mountain and hiking experiences.
Even the journey up with the mountain railway opens up the view of the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal skiing and hiking region. Breathtaking views and alpine moments of pleasure - ideal for families and sporty, active nature lovers of all ages and fitness levels.
And when there is heavy fog over the valley, the sun often shines above. You are sure to catch these warming rays of sunshine with the OK - Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal Bergbahnen cable cars.
