Welcome to A Shore Thing. A Home to your tranquil piece of beach living paradise in this gorgeous 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath retreat, professionally managed by Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals, nestled in a peaceful and quiet exclusive enclave on Lido Key. This location has it all!
Are you ready for relaxation? – head out to the white sandy beaches only a few minutes walk away or lounge by your own pool and spa – the choice is yours. Right around the corner is also premium shopping and dining along St. Armand's Circle.
Looking for an outdoor adventure? – get lost amid the labyrinth of mangrove tunnels and explore their unique ecosystem aboard a rented kayak or stand-up paddleboard in South Lido Beach Park, or hike the Northern Nature Trail.

This fully renovated, furnished home away from home boasts a large open deck area overlooking the beautiful heated pool and spa where you can lounge, relax, and take a swim (includes optional baby fence around the pool for enhanced safety). The modern décor, upgraded lighting fixtures and fans, and flooring throughout will provide both enhanced form and function in a relaxing and tastefully done beachy, mid-century modern vibe.
Entertain and Relax:
As you enter the spacious, open living room you will find comfortable couches and chairs where you can convene with friends and family to watch a movie on a 70” flat-screen TV with integrated streaming devices, wireless speaker system and Xbox. The dining area hosts a large table that seats 6, where you can gather to enjoy a meal together or if you prefer, dine alfresco style outside just off of the kitchen in newly appointed outdoor dining furniture. The beautifully redone kitchen with custom quartz countertops offers modern cabinetry and all of your premium stainless steel appliances including built-in stove and microwave, refrigerator, undermount ice machine and dishwasher as well as coffee/espresso maker for your culinary pleasure.
Luxurious Accommodations:
The large master bedroom includes sliding glass doors with direct access to the pool and spa area and features a king size bed, sitting area with two settees, a 60” flat-screen tv, and a large private bathroom with double sinks, custom quartz countertops and oversized, open rain shower system.
The spacious guest bedroom boasts two sets of large bunk beds (full-over-full and twin-over-twin), a 55” flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a stunning shower including mosaic tile accents.
The third bedroom offers a queen size bed, comfortable seating area with a 50” flat-screen TV. The guest bathroom offers a tub and shower, and feel free to use the large washer and dryer in the dedicated laundry room. This home sleeps up to 8 people max.
Pool heating is optional, for an additional non-refundable fee of $25 per day + taxes to be paid directly to the management company after the reservation is confirmed. Pool heat request made after guest arrival will incur an additional $45 trip charge.

The house and accommodations were beautiful. A lovely home and a lovely neighborhood. The management company fell a little short in the pool heating department. They charged extra for me to keep the pool heated, but they never heated it above 80. After many complaints about the temperature, it was never resolved.

The location is great, beaches, restaurants, pub and shops just blocks away. As close as it was to everything it was amazingly quiet, thus could get away and enjoy quiet nights!

House was very clean and in very good shape. Really liked it. Only drawback was one afternoon, a group of guys showed up unannounced and spent the entire afternoon cleaning and repairing a pool waterfall feature. They covered the outdoor furniture with tarps.

The house is awesome and the pool adds a nice touch. Only complaint is the pool spa heater. You have to pay extra per night to have the spa heated for a few hours. No problem I don’t mind paying. I have a pool at home and understand that is cost to heat the spa. I was there for a week and paid for the spa to be on. $50 or $75 per night. No problem. Where the problem began is communication with the property management. First night we had no spa heat, after calling several times the next day they told us the they would resolve the issue. The second night everything was good. After that we never had heat. Called the management company again and again. We just kept getting transferred around. Long story short we got heat one night out of 6. After calling for months we were told we would get reimbursed for the spa heater. We only got reimbursed for 1 night. After that we kept getting passed around. Finally gave up.
