About this house rental
Enjoy a quiet getaway at the most private vrbo in the Mennonite community of Muddy Pond. Take in a lovely view as you kick back & relax in this country cottage nestled among the trees on the edge of Looper Ridge overlooking Little Hurricane George. If seclusion and quiet is what you're looking for, you will not be disappointed! You can count the cars that pass each day on this Tennessee backroad, as they are few and far between.
Two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a double sofa bed (5’ long) can accommodate up to 6 guests. (Note, wide-angle lens makes some rooms appear larger than they are.) The kitchen is well stocked to meet your cooking needs. Also, there is a grill available on the back porch, so you can attend to supper preparation while your children play happily on the playset and swings in the yard. There is air hockey, spikeball, a children’s bookshelf, lots of legos, puzzles, and other toys. We welcome families with children!
This rental is about 15 minutes from the town of Monterey and Interstate 40. Less than five minutes away is The Country Porch where you can enjoy old-fashioned shopping, a delicious breakfast or lunch, homemade Mennonite baked goods, and hand-dipped ice cream. We hope you enjoy your stay in the Muddy Pond Community.

This home is warm and inviting, clean, and many nice touches. The host is very accommodating and easy to contact. The sweet bread on the kitchen table is a nice welcome. Our family absolutely loved it!!
