A generous, pampering and very organized hostes.

Monica is an exceptional host and so is her entire team: her daughter, her sister-in-law and everyone who works with her. She pampers her guests with fruits and vegetables that she grows herself in her garden. She is very generous and all giving. She responds quickly, happily and wholeheartedly to any request and explanation of places worth visiting. It is very important to her that her guests enjoy their vacation and her entire new and organized house is managed and equipped to make this happen.

Very nice apartment, stunning view, very clean, huge balcony, very accomodating hostess, great breakfast service, free card for transportation by bus, free ticket to visit a lake with a swimmingpool. Easy access to visit the villages nearby and also Bolzano.Location is literally between the vineyards which gives an insight of all the work to be done.

Be aware that there is noice from the local road during rush hours. Also, the maintenance of the vineyards required use of machines during the day and in the evening until 19:30ish.

Best value for your money and we are looking forward to return to Gästehaus Mair.

We booked a room for 1 night as we were traveling towards Umbrië. The location of this Gästehaus is fantastic and in reality even better than we could imagine from previous reviews: very quite, excellent place to relax, fantastic view over the fruit trees and vineyards, and overlooking from distance the city of Bolzen/Bolzano and the mountains. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast was served.

I wanted to suggest the hosts to start thinking about some renovation of the room/bathroom and the good news is that they have already planned it for later this year.

Pareltje aan de weinstrasse!

Zeer compleet en modern appartement. Goede bedden, fijne douche. Alles is brandschoon. Fijn privé overdekt terras met eethoek en makkelijke stoelen. Rolluiken voor alle ramen. Er zijn ook nog 2 terrassen voor algemeen gebruik met fantastisch uitzicht richting Bolzano. Parkeren bij het appartement. De ligging en omgeving van het huis stralen rust uit en het ligt midden in de wijngaarden. Frau Monika gaf duidelijke uitleg over het verblijf en activiteiten in de omgeving. Je kunt gratis koffie/thee nemen. Op zondag waren er voor iedereen croissantjes! Het ligt heel centraal en met de gästekarte is de bus en trein gratis. Half uur met de bus naar Bolzano en een uur met de bus en trein naar Merano. De omgeving is uitermate geschikt om te wandelen. Wandelingen van diverse lengtes en moeilijkheidsgraad. Bushaltes, restaurants, winkels en supermarkt zijn dichtbij (3 minuten met de auto).
